a LOGO IS A window into what makes each COURSE unique.

A basket in the broom. A milk jug. A headless horseman. For as long as golfers have kept score, they've worn their history stitched over their heart. These pages contain the 100 marks that matter most, ranked by tier and debated at length by George Peper alongside The Logo Lads, with a foreword by 8-time PGA Tour winner, Brad Faxon. How It Started

THREE LOGOMANIACS, ONE STUBBORN IDEA.

It all began with a framed display of the Peachtree Golf Club logo's evolution. Clay Jackson, Lou DiLorenzo, and Gee Aldridge, three golfers with a logo obsession, decided there should be a book on the subject. A few years and nearly 400 candidate logos later, they found their author in George Peper and a publisher in Back Nine Press. What followed was the resulting list of 100 marks. Ranked, argued over, and finally settled on. Plus Emergency Nines, categorized as honorable mentions.
